To ensure optimal performance when the seawater flows through the plate heat exchanger, it is crucial to provide the best working conditions. Therefore, we recommend using plates made from titanium to extend their lifespan and minimize corrosion when processing saltwater.
Titanium is typically the preferred material for seawater-cooled heat exchangers due to its exceptional corrosion resistance, even in hot, aerated seawater. Additionally, it offers good strength and low density, making it an ideal choice for marine applications.
