DanPumps A/S becomes an independent company with even greater focus on pump production

After several years of continuous growth and an increasing demand for both our pumps and especially heat exchangers, we have come to the realization that in order to optimize the operational economy of the pump department and fully leverage the market’s potential, it is necessary to establish the pump department as an independent company.

DanPumps A/S will become an independent company, and we are delighted to announce that Dennis Hansen has joined as a co-owner and director of the new DanPumps company. With his extensive industry experience and expertise, we have confidence that Dennis is the ideal person to guide DanPumps into the future.

During October, the entire pump production will relocate to new premises in Haderslev, Denmark, which have been designed to meet our production and development needs.

Agreements established with SonFlow A/S will need to be renegotiated before they can be transferred to the new company. Dennis will contact the affected companies in the near future.

Our SonFlow plate heat exchangers will continue to be produced at our current location in Kolding. The restructuring will unfold in two phases. Initially, pump production will be moved to the new facilities, followed by the optimization of our Kolding factory space for the production of plate heat exchangers. 

We are acutely aware that such changes may present challenges. Our top priority is on minimizing any disruptions for our customers. However, there will be a temporary impact on delivery times, and existing orders may be reconfirmed for a later delivery date.
